About the Wallasey Food Fair & Maker's Market

Wallasey Food Fair was launched in September 2014, as a way to bring local producers together and offer the local community a great way to shop.

Wallasey Food Fair now regularly sees up to 32 stallholders attending, covering a wide range of items from fresh Artisan Produce to Handmade Crafts and Gifts. The emphasis is on trying to ensure the produce on offer is as local as possible.

At a farmers market you are able to chat to the person running the stall, who are for the most part the person who actually creates the product. This means you can find out exactly where it’s come from and how it’s made.

Volunteers from the local library also sell books and run a tombola, giving the event a real community feeling.

The market takes place on the first Sunday of each month between 10am -2pm at The Mosslands School. Entry to the Market is free, and there is free parking available. As the market takes place undercover in the school, it’s not weather dependent.
